Abstract
Disclosed are a stator () for an electric machine () and a method for manufacturing a stator of said type which comprises a stator body () that has radial stator teeth (); each stator tooth () accommodates exactly one coil section () of an electric winding (); the winding () consists of exactly two separate winding strands () which are wound from exactly two separate winding wires () and each of which has three phases () comprising at least two coil sections () each.
