Abstract
A system () for operating a subsea sensor field (), comprises an automated underwater vehicle—AUV () and a subsea service station (). A sensor () in the sensor field () comprises a permanently installed base unit () and a removable control unit (). The AUV () moves control units () to the service station () for charging and updating, and then back to the base units.
