Provided is an electrostatic coating method using a conductor such as a metal or a conductive resin as a coating target surface, the method including coating the coating target surfacewith a charged paint by ejecting the charged paint from a spray gunin a state where generation of an electrostatic field between a spray gunand the coating target surfaceis prevented and generation of free ions is prevented.
