Abstract

The invention relates to a composite article comprising: —an item () to be attached to a substrate; and —an adhesive tape () for attaching the item to the substrate, the adhesive tape having a substantially flat shape with a first main surface () facing the item, the first main surface extending in a cross section perpendicular to the first main surface from a first edge () to a second edge (); —a lamination region () on the first surface, wherein the lamination region is the region where the adhesive tape is laminated to the item; and —wherein the lamination region is smaller than the first main surface. The invention also relates to a method of making a composite article.
