Abstract

Method, system, and device for ultrasonic signal emission and reception of reflected ultrasonic signal enabling non-destructive analysis of solid material such as in roads, bridges, and other constructions. The device being formed as a wheel () where the wheel () comprises an array of transducers () arranged on a base () attached to an axis () and a tire section () providing a sealed enclosure () around the array of transducers () where the tire section comprises a plurality of circular protruding sections () comprising a tire tread section (), and a coupling fluid () in the sealed enclosure () providing an acoustic transparency between the array of transducers and contact points () for the tire tread section () towards a test material ().
