Abstract
A window assembly () for a window opening of a motor vehicle comprises a door frame member (), a movable window pane (), a window sealing profile (), and a guiding bracket (). The movable window pane () includes a guiding section () and a window section () having an outer window surface (). The window sealing profile () is fastened to the door frame member () and includes a sealing portion () for sealing the window pane () against moisture and/or noise. The guiding bracket () includes a trimming surface () and is configured to guide the window pane () along a direction of movement between an open position and a closed position, and vice versa. The guiding bracket () simultaneously engages the window sealing profile () and the window pane (), when in the fastened state.
