Abstract
According to one embodiment, a nonaqueous electrolyte battery includes a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material and a binder. The negative electrode active material contains monoclinic titanium dioxide or LiTiO(here, −0.5≤a≤3). The binder includes polyvinylidene fluoride with a molecular weight of 400,000 to 1,000,000. The negative electrode satisfies a formula (I) below. The nonaqueous electrolyte contains at least one of difluorophosphate and monofluorophosphate.0.1≤(P2/P1)≤0.4  (I)
