Abstract
Aspects of the disclosure provide a computer-implemented method and system for individuals to be non-professional service providers. The methods and systems may include the use of an application on a mobile device that provides telematics information, service provider information to locate the service providers; prioritizes the service providers based on the user preferences, telematics information, and service provider information; and facilitates the service provider request and the electronic payment for the services. The system may provide a performance rating and/or user comments for the service providers. The system may then select a service provider or allows the user to select the service provider. The system can include roadside services, automobile services, home services, and personal services. The computer-implemented method and system may utilize insurance information to provide additional features and to enhance the mobile service provider methods and systems by providing known and safe routes and recommendations to the user.
