Abstract

The present invention provides a process for obtaining an extract from peach flower extract (.) for skin cosmetic use, a peach flower extract obtainable by the process and a cosmetic composition comprising the said extract. The invention further provides a method for modulating the SIRT2 expression, a method of treatment designed to reduce and/or correct the signs of aging and photo-aging of the skin and keratinous appendages, and to protect the skin against aggressions due to ultraviolet radiation.
