Abstract
In a display device in which source lines on a display panel are driven from both ends, when a connection confirmation signal (S) output from a source board () indicates abnormality, a power supply circuit () on a control board () stops outputting a power supply voltage (Va) used when source drivers drive the source lines. The control board () outputs a high-level connection confirmation signal (S) to the source board (), the source board () outputs the connection confirmation signal (S) to the control board () as the connection confirmation signal (S), and the control board () pulls down the connection confirmation signal (S) to a low level. With this, it is possible to prevent serious damage from occurring even when a connection failure or the like occurs.
