Abstract

The invention relates to compounds having general formula (I): where R═H, CH—OH, CH—O—CO—CH, CH—O—CO-Ph (Ph=phenyl) R'═H, CH—O—CO—CH, CH—O—CO-Ph (Ph=phenyl) Ar=phenyl, 3-methoxy-4-hydroxy phenyl, 2-furyl. These are compounds having antioxidant activity against free radicals together with anti-inflammatory activity, the compounds being useful as active ingredients for the preparation of pharmaceutical dermatological or cosmetic compositions for skin care.
