Abstract
A child-resistant smoking article packageis provided which comprises a casewith an openingthat is adapted to receive a smoking articleand a capmovable between a closed state wherein the capcloses the caseand an open state wherein the openingof the caseis accessible. The child-resistant smoking article packagefurther comprises a first releaseably engageable fixation member-and a second and third releaseably engageable fixation member--, wherein the second and third releaseably engageable fixation members--are arranged on opposing sides of the child-resistant smoking article package. The first, second and third releaseably engageable fixation members---are adapted to immovably fix the capto the casein the closed state and to release the capwhen they are simultaneously actuated.
