Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a pre-5-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A method for operating of a terminal in a wireless communication system according to an exemplary embodiment includes: receiving signals from other terminals; selecting another terminal which has proximity to the terminal from among the other terminals based on reception powers of the signals and information related to the signals; and determining a location of the terminal based on location information of the other terminals.
