Abstract
An electric power toolhas a motor, a housing, a power cord, and a power supply control circuit portion. The housinghas a body portionfor accommodating the motor, a substrate accommodating portionfor accommodating a substrate on which a control substrate for operating the motoris mounted, a handle portionhaving one end connected to the body portionand another end connected to the substrate accommodating portion. The power cordextends from the substrate accommodating portionand is connected to an AC power supply. The power supply circuit portionhas a choke coiland a film capacitorfor filtering noise, and converts AC power supplied through the power cordto DC power. The choke coiland a film capacitorare accommodated in the substrate accommodating portion. Accordingly, the handle portion can be formed shorter, and assemblability of the electric power tool can be improved.
