Abstract

A headlight () for a healthcare worker includes: a base part (), which has a U-shape, is configured to come into abutment, at a center part of the base part (), with a back side of a head and neck part of a wearer, and includes a right end part () and a left end part (), each of which is configured to be hung on an upper part of an ear so that the base part () is retained on a head; a light source device (), which extends from both or any one of a vicinity of the end parts (), includes LEDs as light sources, and is configured to illuminate a region in front of the head; and a controller () configured to control an illumination state of the light source device (). The controller () is configured to light the light source device () when the base part () reaches a predetermined depression angle with a standing state of the wearer serving as a reference.
