A Zr-based composite ceramic material, a preparation method thereof and a shell or a decoration are provided. The Zr-based composite ceramic material includes a zirconia matrix and a cubic SrNbOstable phase dispersed within the zirconia matrix, where 0.7≤x≤0.95.
