Abstract
A method and a device for cleaning a fluid is provided, the device including a housing having at least one inlet and at least one outlet, and a slide mechanism which is movable in the housing and has at least one passage having at least two filters lying substantially symmetrically opposite each other, wherein starting from the housing inlet the fluid flows symmetrically onto the filters in the passage and downstream of the filters is directed to the outlet of the housing, wherein a part of the fluid that does not flow through the passage forms a hydrodynamic buffer in a gap between the slide mechanism and the housing, wherein the passage opens out into at least two symmetrically opposite sub-channels of the outlet and at least four flushing flows are generated in the gap between at least two inlet mouths and at least two outlet mouths of the passage.
