Abstract

The invention relates to Cr:ZnSe core optical fibers and methods of fabricating thereof, including a hybrid physical-chemical vapor deposition reaction. The invention relates also to Cr:ZnSe optical fiber lasers, in particular to a crystalline semiconductor optical fiber laser.
