Abstract

A display device includes a light guide plate, a first light source, a second light source, and a light transmitting portion. The light guide plate includes a first reflecting prism and a second reflecting prism. The first reflecting prism has an inclined surface that reflects the light incident from the first side surface toward the main surface. The second reflecting prism has an inclined surface that reflects the light incident from the second side surface toward the main surface. The longitudinal direction of the inclined surface of the first reflecting prism is parallel or substantially parallel to a line connecting the second light source and the inclined surface of the first reflecting prism.
