Abstract
An extruder () includes a cylinder () and a screw (), and one or more front vents () are provided on the cylinder () upstream of a hopper () and downstream of a rear vent (). The cylinder () is provided with, between the hopper () and the rear vent (), a liquid supply device () for spraying water into the cylinder () to cool an interior thereof and a liquid discharge port () that is opened in a lower portion of the cylinder ().
