Abstract
Power can be supplied to a smart device without affecting control of a cash drawer. A printercapable of connecting to a smart deviceand a cash drawerhas a wireless communicatorfor communicating with the smart device, a drawer kick connectorthat connects to the drawer, a power circuit, and a controller. When a command instructing control of the draweris received from the smart deviceby the wireless communicator, the controllerstops the supply of power from the power circuitto the smart device; and when control of the drawerends, the controllerstarts supplying power to the smart device
