Abstract
In cases where local devices () support a master transfer function, a portion of the memory space, of each of local devices (), to be controlled from system host () is mapped onto a memory space on system host () side and a plurality of local devices () are reconfigured as one virtual local device. This provides information processing apparatus () which, in cases of connection with the plurality of local devices (), resolves resource shortage on system host () side by appropriately mapping necessary registers of local devices () onto a memory space for system host ().
