Abstract

The invention relates to a vibration damper arrangement, in particular for damping compression and rebound forces on motor vehicles, which comprises a pressure medium cylinder (), in which a piston () with a piston rod () is guided axially displaceably, which piston () divides the pressure medium cylinder () into a compression chamber () and a rebound chamber (), a gas pressure accumulator () also being provided for volume compensation of the piston rod (), which gas pressure accumulator () is connected to the compression chamber () by way of at least one first check valve () which can open toward the compression chamber (), and a second check valve () which can open toward the rebound chamber () and, parallel thereto, at least one first controllable operating valve () being provided between the compression chamber () and the rebound chamber ().
