Abstract

An abnormality detection apparatus () is configured to detect an abnormality of a lighting device (). The abnormality detection apparatus () includes an illuminance sensor (), a memory () and a controller (). The controller () is configured to detect the abnormality of the lighting device () based on a criterion stored in the memory () and a difference between an illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor () during on state of the lighting device () and an illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor () during off state of the lighting device ().
