Abstract
A driving circuit for a capacitive load comprises: a demodulator including an inductor; a circuit board supporting the demodulator; and wiring patterns on the circuit board. The wiring patterns include first and second wiring patterns that are separated from each other. In the inductor, a coil and a core are integrally formed and are mounted on the circuit board so that an axial direction of the core around which the coil is wound intersects the circuit board, and part of the core is directly exposed to the circuit board. The first wiring pattern is electrically connected to a first terminal of the coil. The second wiring pattern is electrically connected to a second terminal of the coil. The first and second wiring patterns do not extend between the coil and the circuit board, and also do not extend between the core and the circuit board.
