Abstract
When able to communicate with a control server, the tablet terminalof a transaction processing systemcommunicates with the control serverand executes a process using server-side data stored by the control server. When unable to communicate with the control server, the tablet terminalcommunicates with a recording control device, and executes a process using control device-side data stored by the recording control device. If the recording control deviceis not on, the tablet terminalsends to the recording control devicea start command causing the recording control deviceto start.
