Abstract

The invention relates to a system for controlling the opening () of a motor vehicle door (). The system () comprises: a housing (); a handle () pivoting relative to the housing (); an electric motor () for retracting and extending the handle of the openable body section; and a computer () which controls the power supply of the motor (), and which switches from a standby mode to an active mode when the handle () is moved. The electric motor () generates a wake-up voltage during the movement of the handle () relative to the housing (). The computer () is configured to switch from standby mode to active mode when it receives the wake-up voltage generated by the motor (). Waking only takes place when the wake-up voltage reaches a threshold S of 5 mV.
