Abstract

The integration of hydrogen and methanol production within a coal liquefaction, petroleum refinery or biomass conversion facility resulting in the unanticipated benefits of lower carbon dioxide (CO) production, net emissions, and higher carbon and thermal efficiencies is the subject of this invention.
