Abstract
A filtration membrane () is provided that includes a porous support () and a membrane layer having a first and a second zone (). The first zone () has a thickness of 5 to 15 μm and an average pore opening size of smaller/equal 0.4 and the second zone () has a thickness of 5 to 40 μm and an average pore opening size of 0.5 to 5.0 μm. The filtration membrane () is produced by forming a single- or -double-layer coating on the porous support ().
