Abstract
A window regulator () provided in a door () of a vehicle to raise and lower a windowpane () in the door () includes a guide rail () arranged along the travel direction of the windowpane (), a wire () extending along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail (), and a traveling body () that is guided by the guide rail () and travels together with the windowpane (). The traveling body () includes a drum () with a part of the wire () wound thereon, a motor () generating a drive force that rotates and drives the drum (), and a housing () that holds the drum () and the motor (). The motor () is more outwardly situated in a vehicle width direction than the guide rail () in the door ().
