Abstract

The present invention relates to a chimney tray () for a column () for thermal treatment of fluid mixtures, comprising a collecting tray () and at least two chimneys (--) spaced apart horizontally in the collecting tray (), where each chimney (--) forms a vertically aligned chimney body (--) which forms a passage orifice (--) through the collecting tray (), and has a cover unit (--) arranged spaced apart from the chimney body (--), and where the cover unit (--) covers the respective passage orifices (--) in the vertical direction. The chimney tray () of the invention is characterized by a screen () which extends around the chimney body (-) of a first chimney (-), with the lower annular edge () of the screen () below the upper edge () of the chimney body (-) of the first chimney (-) and the upper annular edge () of the screen () above the lower outer edge () of the cover unit (-) of the first chimney (-) or adjoining the lower outer edge () of the cover unit (-) of the first chimney (-).
