Abstract

According to one embodiment, there is provided a nonaqueous electrolyte battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material layer including a lithium nickel cobalt manganese composite oxide. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material layer including a spinel type lithium titanate. The nonaqueous electrolyte has an ion conductivity of not less than 7 mS/cm and not more than 10 mS/cm at 25° C. A capacity ratio p/n is within a range of not less than 1.4 and not more than 1.8. A thickness ratio T/Tis within a range of not less than 1.05 and less than 1.3. A ratio P/Pis within a range of not less than 0.55 and less than 0.8.
