Abstract

The invention relates to an ophthalmic device () which includes an electrochromic cell () comprising at least two transparent layers () having curved inner surfaces () and defining therebetween a closed recess () filled with an electrochromic composition (), the recess () being defined peripherally by a sealing gasket () made from an adhesive material (), the sealing gasket () being suitable for keeping the two transparent layers () assembled together.
