Abstract
A system () and method that facilitates the delivery of power and fiber communications together is provided. The system and method enables quick and easy connection of a hybrid cable () to telecommunication equipment. The system provides a sealed robust connection for both conductors () and fibers () at a single location (). It can be used to avoid the need for local powering of fiber based communication devices and networks.
