Abstract
An aqueous inkjet ink includes at least water, a coloring material, a water-soluble organic solvent component, a surfactant, and resin microparticles. The water-soluble organic solvent component includes a first monool-type solvent represented by RO(CHCHO)H in which Rrepresents a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and m represents an integer of 2 or 3, a second monool-type solvent represented by RO(CHO)H where Rrepresents a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer of 2 or 3, and a third monool-type solvent that is at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methoxy-1-butanol and 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol. The content of the third monool-type solvent in the ink is about 8% by mass or greater and about 27% by mass or less. The content of the first monool-type solvent in the ink is about 0.5% by mass or greater and about 9% by mass or less. The content of the second monool-type solvent in the ink is about 0.5% by mass or greater and about 9% by mass or less. The content of the water-soluble organic solvent component in the ink is about 15% by mass or greater and about 42% by mass or less.
