Abstract
A game system (information processing system ()) includes: a communication section configured to be communicably connected to a network; an execution section configured to execute a game application; a display section configured to display an execution screen of a game based on the game application; an information acquisition section configured to acquire, from the network, information corresponding to the state of progress on the game; and a display control block configured to cause the display section to display a related picture including at least either text information or a play picture each related to the state of progress on the game, on the basis of the acquired information.
