Abstract

A display device includes a frame and an image display device. The image display device includes an image forming device, a light guide device, and a lens system. The image forming device includes light emitting elementsarranged in a two-dimensional matrix. Each of the light emitting elementshas a laminated structureincluding at least one layer of light emitting laminates, andeach including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light emitting layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. The laminated structurehas a through holethrough which light from the light emitting layer is emitted toward the lens system. An antireflection layeris formed in a portion of the laminated structure facing the lens system.
