Abstract

An axial fan with an electric motor, on the rotor of which a an wheel is mounted, the rotor having a portion with a cylindrically pot-shaped configuration, onto which the wheel is pushed with a completely or partially cylindrical part so as to fit, and the fan wheel lying completely behind the plane predetermined by the bottom surface of the rotor.
