Abstract
A window assembly () of a side window opening of a motor vehicle comprises a door frame member () having an outer surface (), a movable window pane () having an outer window surface () and a guiding member (), and a window guiding profile (). The window guiding profile () is fastened to the door frame member () and guides the window pane () along a direction of movement between an open position and a closed position. The window guiding profile () includes a sealing portion () for sealing the window pane (), an accommodating opening (), and a guiding leg (). The guiding leg () comprises a locating member () which cooperates with the guiding member () to prevent a movement of the window pane () out of the accommodating opening ().
