Abstract

Disclosed is an intermediate transfer belt used for an electrophotographic image-forming apparatus, wherein the intermediate transfer belt contains a substrate layer and a surface layer; the intermediate transfer belt has a relative dielectric constant of 15 or more, and a volume resistivity at an applied voltage of 100 V in the range of 1.0×10to 9.0×10Ω·cm under an environment of temperature of 23° C. and humidity of 50% RH; and the surface layer has a relative dielectric constant of 6 or less.
