Abstract

A parameter for detecting a target markis not required to be set for each camera repeatedly while a stereo camerais calibrated. A calibration deviceassociates position information in an image coordinate system at a first cameraof a stereo camera, position information in an image coordinate system at a second cameraof the stereo camera, and position information in a robot coordinate system at a robot. The calibration device comprises: first parameter setting unitthat sets a first parameter for detecting a target markattached to the robotfrom data about an image captured by the first camera; and a second parameter setting unitthat sets a second parameter for detecting the target markfrom data about an image captured by the second camerabased on the first parameter.
