Abstract
Various communication systems may benefit from identification of devices or systems using a channel. For example, certain communication systems may benefit from non-orthogonal cover code for co-channel network isolation. A method can include deciding a cover code index. The method can also include signaling the cover code index to a user equipment. The cover code index can correspond to a non-orthogonal cover code that is created in a network-specific manner.
