Abstract

This magnetic head, which reads and writes magnetic information, prevents a signal from being read between the magnetic head and the write circuit during reading of magnetic information. A card readeris provided with a magnetic headwhich reads and writes magnetic information. Bidirectional diodesA,B are arranged inside of a head caseof the magnetic head. A write signal from a write circuitis inputted via the bidirectional diodesA,B to a writing coilwound around a coreof the magnetic head. The bidirectional diodesA,B and a demodulation ICare mounted on a first board surfaceA of a control circuit board, and the control circuit boardis fixed to the head caseso that the bidirectional diodesA,B and the demodulation ICare covered by the head case
