Abstract

An organic resin-covered surface-treated metal sheet having formed on at least one surface of a metal sheet a surface-treatment coating and an organic resin film on the surface-treatment coating. The surface-treatment coating contains a poly-carboxylic acid type polymer and a polyvalent metal compound. The surface-treatment coating measured for its infrared-ray absorption spectra has a peak height ratio (β/α) of a maximum absorption peak height (α) in a wave number range of 1660 to 1760 cmand a maximum absorption peak height (β) in a wave number range of 1490 to 1659 cmof from 0.05 to 2.35.
