Abstract
A battery terminal includes a fastening portion () that is partially open in a circumferential direction and a flange () projects radially out from the fastening portion (). Two facing portions () project radially out from open ends () of the fastening portion () and face each other in the circumferential direction. The fastening portion () is reduced in diameter and fastened to a battery post P by having the facing portions () approach each other. The flange () of the fastening portion () has cuts () for partially reducing a thickness of the fastening portion () in a radial direction.
