Abstract

A medical applicator and a manipulation unit for use in connection with specific variants of the medical applicator are disclosed. In general, the medical applicator has an insertion needle () configured for puncturing a part of a human or animal body (B), a sensor assembly () configured to be at least partially inserted into a human or animal body (B) when the body is punctured by said insertion needle () and a lifting means () for lifting up a surface adjacent portion of the human or animal body (B) towards the insertion needle ().
