Abstract
In an embodiment, a multilayer ceramic capacitorhas supplementary dielectric layerscovering the spaces between two first base conductor filmson both height-direction faces of a capacitive element', respectively, in such a way that clearances CL are left between the first base conductor filmsand the supplementary dielectric layersin the length direction. External electrodeseach have a second base conductor filmand a surface conductor film, and the wraparound locationsof each surface conductor filmhave insertion partsthat fill in the clearances CL. The multilayer ceramic capacitor can mitigate deterioration in moisture resistance.
