Abstract
A method of operating a vehicle () which recurrently travels along the same routes () with defined stopping points () along each of the routes (). The parameters for operation of the vehicle () along the routes () are specified, on the basis of which the vehicle () can be braked, before the stopping points (), and brought to rest at the stopping points ().
