Abstract
An organic EL device with high emission efficiency, an electronic equipment including the organic EL device, and a compound providing the organic EL device are provided. The compound is represented by formula (1): wherein Arrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted naphthalene ring; the substituent on the naphthalene ring is at least one selected from a fluorine atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a group represented by —Si(R)(R)(R), and a group represented by —Z—R; Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a group represented by —Si(R)(R)(R), an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group; Rto Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a cyano group, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, a group represented by —Si(R)(R)(R), or a group represented by —Z—R; each Z represents a single bond, an arylene group, a heteroarylene group, or a divalent linking group in which 2 to 4 groups selected from the above groups are linked together; Rrepresents a group represented by —N(R)(R), an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group; and Rto Reach represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, aryl group, or a heteroaryl group; provided that at least one selected from the substituent on the naphthalene ring and Rto Rrepresents a group represented by —Z—R.
