Abstract
A display device includes a display panel, and a backlight unit including a light guide plate which guides light in an upward direction toward the display panel and including a transmission region and a reflection region; a supporting pattern at the reflection region; a reflection layer on upper and side surfaces of the supporting pattern; and an insulating layer which covers the transmission region and the reflection layer at the reflection region.
